In the aviation industry there are a handful of milestones that every pilot looks forward to. Once you begin flight training, the first one of these is your first solo flight.  In the wine world, the term “tasting flight” is used to describe a selection of wines, usually between three and eight glasses, presented for the purpose of sampling and comparison.  But seriously, when you are celebrating your milestone, why would you seek a sampling when you already know there’s no comparison to a “Solo Flight”?
